Auction Rules

  1. Philatelic Auctioneers Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale apply.
  2. All lots will be knocked down at the lowest possible price to the bidder. This will either be at one bid step above the next highest bid or at reserve if there are no other bids on the lot in question. Therefore, you can bid in total confidence knowing you will pay the absolute minimum required to secure each lot.
  3. Bidding steps are as follows:-

    Stamp Price Price increment
    £1 - £10 25p steps
    £10 -£20 50p steps
    £20 - £50 £1 steps
    £50 - £100 £2 steps
    £100 - £500 £5 steps
    £500 - £1,000 £10 steps
    £1,000+ £25 steps
  4. Value Added Tax. All lots are sold without addition of VAT under the rules for Global Accounting.
  5. There are no additional charges (i.e. Buyers Premium) other than for postage and packing.
  6. Postage & Packing. Unless otherwise requested P & P charges will be as shown below:

  7. All successful purchasers will be notified as soon as possible after the close date at which point payment will become due.
  8. Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard or Switch at no additional cost.
  9. All items are sold with a ‘no quibble – full refund’ guarantee provided that they are returned, as despatched, within 7 days of receipt.
